The Helix - Champion Schools
The Helix is an exciting new project which aims to transform 300 hectares of land between Falkirk and Grangemouth into a new high quality greenspace. The highlight of the project will be "The Kelpies", a huge 30m sculpture of two horses heads which will be positioned either side of the Forth and Clyde canal, with one Kelpie designed to move to operate the lock.
Schools can be awarded Helix Champion status for including Helix related activities on the curriculum and for using the Helix as a subject for learning across Curriculum for Excellence.
Do you think your school should be a Champion? Visit the Helix Champions page| for more information.
