POPULATION
The population of the Falkirk area is increasing. It currently stands at 149,150 (2005) and is expected to grow to over 155,000 by 2017 making it one of the fastest growing areas in Scotland. The population has increased by more than 4% over the last decade, with most of this growth taking place in the last three or four years.
